Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Giggie. By downloading or using Giggie, you agree to these terms.

Please read these Terms carefully. They govern your access to and use of the Giggie mobile application, the giggie.app website, and related financial tracking services operated by Giggie LLC ("Giggie," "we," "us," or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, registering for, or otherwise using the Giggie application or browsing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use our software.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Giggie. By registering for an account, you represent that you are 13 or older, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and are using our services in compliance with all relevant platform guidelines.

3. Account Registration

To access full features you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information on registration, and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and account credentials. Notify us immediately at info@giggie.app of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Description of Service

Giggie is a financial tracking and profitability analytics tool designed for independent contractor gig economy delivery drivers. Services include mileage tracking via GPS, vehicle expense logging, platform earnings comparisons, tax pacing estimators, and optional bank transaction synchronization via Plaid.

5. Subscription and Billing

Giggie offers three paid subscription plans, each with a 7-day free trial:

  • Starter — $2.99/month: Manual shift and GPS mileage tracking, real profit dashboard, vehicle overhead cost calculator, cheapest local gas finder, and IRS quarterly tax countdowns.
  • Pro — $4.99/month: Everything in Starter, plus Plaid automated banking deposit sync, Google and Apple email earnings sync, screenshot OCR platform scanner, and IRS tax reports (PDF).
  • Premium — $9.99/month: Everything in Pro, plus YTD annual income pacing projection, multi-vehicle cost tracking profiles, and dedicated priority support.
  • 7-Day Free Trial: All plans include a 7-day free trial. You can cancel at any time during the trial without being charged.
  • Cancellations: Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle. You must manage and cancel subscriptions within your iOS App Store account settings. No partial refunds will be provided.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Giggie to:

  • Falsify mileage logs, write-offs, or platform screenshots
  • Circumvent, disable, or hack security configurations
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the application
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or automated scraping scripts

7. Financial Information Disclaimer

Giggie is a financial tracking utility, not a financial advisor or tax professional. All calculations, profit metrics, mileage deduction valuations, and estimated tax liabilities are approximations provided for informational and planning purposes only. Giggie does not prepare or file official tax documents. You must consult a qualified CPA or licensed tax professional for actual tax filings.

8. Third-Party Services

We integrate with third-party providers including Plaid (bank sync), Google Maps Platform (gas prices), Google Cloud Vision (OCR), Supabase (database and auth), and Expo (app delivery). Each service is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

Giggie is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with DoorDash, Instacart, Spark by Walmart, Uber Eats, Shipt, Grubhub, or Amazon Flex.

9. Location Data

Giggie tracks your device's location using GPS strictly while a shift is running — from when you tap "Start Shift" to when you tap "End Shift." This data is used exclusively to calculate mileage for IRS tax deduction purposes. You can disable location services in your device settings at any time.

10. Intellectual Property

All software, designs, wordmarks, text content, and styling are the exclusive property of Giggie LLC and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-assignable license to use the app for personal purposes only.

11. User-Generated Content

You own all rights in the logs, earnings entries, notes, and images you submit to Giggie. By inputting this content, you grant Giggie a secure, restricted, non-exclusive license to host, cache, and process your data solely to deliver app features and analytics to you.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms. You may delete your account permanently at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account deletions are immediate and cannot be undone.

13. Disclaimers

GIGGIE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GIGGIE LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GIGGIE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL GIGGIE LLC'S CUMULATIVE LIABILITY EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

15. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes arising out of these Terms or your use of Giggie will be resolved through individual binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA), rather than in court. You waive any right to participate in class actions.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email at least 14 days before the updated terms take effect. Continued use of Giggie after that date constitutes your agreement to the updated Terms.
